Freelance conceptual creative / creative communicator born in Scunthorpe, 1982. Studied Visual Communications at the Leeds College of Art and Design, achieving a first class honours degree. Scouted as an art director by ad' industry legend Graham Fink of M+C Saatchi. Later going on to win the prestigious 'D&AD' Best New Blood Award (2006) and work on a 'Drapers' award winning project (2011). An imagination for hire. Client list includes Universal Island Records, Visit York and EMI.

Jet2 Adverts / Idents

Four Jet2 adverts standby art directed on location... plus custom props from fake floors and clip-on partially painted walls (to protect the location house) to baskets of blotchy pink laundry. These adverts were produced and directed by Mezzo Films of Leeds in association with the Home agency.

Retail Design & Promotional Video Production

Fallen Hero: the illustrious online fashion destination that brings a wealth of the most desirable branded menswear at the click of a button has proudly launched a flagship store. This conceptual retail experience juxtaposes the essence of Great British heritage with contemporary high street fashion, utilising reclaimed materials, bespoke furniture and custom painted display solutions. At every stage of the design process, the consumer experience was prioritised to be as of paramount importance. **HOT OFF THE PRESS** The store was recently unveiled as a finalist of the Drapers Awards 2011 within the 'Young Fashion Retailer of The Year' category!

Camera Operation and Production

Video one (left) was commissioned by Visit York to show at their A.G.M. in November 2011. Video two (right) depicts the Spilsby Bunkhouse, Lincolnshire. The purpose of the second video is to promote the affordable accommodation, encouraging the general public to book a stay. Both videos were directed and edited by Paul Morricone, produced by Paul Mansley, with both Pauls operating H.D. DSLR cameras.
